Our team excels in well abandonments, guiding the process from initial concept selection—based on well design and subsurface data—to the effective management of abandonment operations. We recently completed the abandonment of 15 wells utilizing innovative technology, all while staying under budget. With our extensive expertise, we are committed to delivering safe, efficient, and permanent well abandonment solutions.
As oil and gas assets age, maintaining well integrity becomes increasingly vital. Our team has carried out numerous well integrity assessments that evaluate well design, review installation reports, analyse ongoing maintenance activities, and examine surface pressure measurements to ascertain the condition of the well's barriers.
Our team has successfully designed and installed various well completions, including gravel pack, large bore, and deep water deployment. We have specialist experience in large bore subsea landing strings.
Critical Flow was originally established to offer well testing services and has substantial expertise in this area. Our team has extensive experience across all aspects of well testing, including drill stem testing, completion flowbacks, and bleed-off packages. We have designed and overseen specialized tests, such as those involving ultra-high gas and oil rates, heavy oil, and water well testing. Additionally, we have significant experience in designing and operating secondary (backup) compensation systems to prevent landing string failure during well testing operations.
The team has considerable experience in intervention and workover operations, including wireline, coiled tubing, and snubbing unit work. We have conducted studies for clients that outline various well intervention and workover options, detailing the associated risks and costs for each potential outcome.
Critical Flow has substantial experience in successfully delivering projects while achieving all technical and HSE objectives within the allocated time and budget. Throughout our careers, we have managed projects with budgets ranging from a few thousand dollars to two hundred million dollars. We are well-versed in all phases of project management, including planning, cost estimation, contract negotiation and management, performance reporting against technical, time, and cost metrics, staged assurance processes, and tracking project deliverables.
